Demo Day

It seems an age since we posted a blog but so much has been going on behind the scenes since the CLA gamefair and the time has literally flown by and the game shooting season is now well and truly upon us. Spending three days on the Blaser/Mauser stand was pretty hectic but reinforced my thinking about the UK rifle market slowly shifting to higher quality kit. 20 years ago there was so little choice in terms of kit, and rifle shooters were the minority. Happily this is changing albeit slowly and we are gradually seeing rifle shooters with a better understanding of rifles and optics, and a gradual realisation that rifle shooting is available to all for modest prices.

The number of newcomers through the range wanting instruction and courses bears testament to this. In the next few days I will be publishing another blog about the Personal Ballistic Cam (PBC) from Swarovski, which replaces the original Ballistic turret and with which several of their scopes can be fitted. Next week I will be meeting with Swarovski to finalise an open day where shooters can not only come along and try out a range of Blaser and Mauser rifles, including the new M12, but can also bring along their own rifles and ammunition and have either the ballistic turret set up properly or be fitted for one of the new PBC's. This won't be a free for all for load development or zeroing, but we can of course provide this service on a one to one basis at any time if required. Further details will be published when dates are finalised, in the mean time please do not hesitate to contact us for any queries relating to Swarovski scopes, Blaser and Mauser rifles or any other stalking related matters.

Safe shooting.
